ARMED FORCES, VETERANS & FAMILY SUPPORT SCHEME

Our Armed Forces & Veterans Support Scheme is provided at no cost and is designed to provide broad support to those who have served in the British armed forces and their immediate families.

For veterans, the Scheme is designed to facilitate the process of transitioning to a new career in civilian life. In addition to academic support, we offer general consultancy along with advice on CV development, interview preparation and, where possible, work placements. This Scheme also covers vocational and apprenticeship pathways This support is tailored and delivered on a one-to-one basis.

The Scheme also provides support for the spouses and children of serving members of the armed forces. For children, this includes 50 hours of free tuition and/or consultancy, typically conducted on a one-to-one basis, although group talks are also undertaken online in the case of key academic milestones (for example, public examinations and university entrance). We offer tuition for students in primary school through to the sixth form and are able to offer academic support in the majority of subjects. Support and advice is also provided in relation to school placements and home schooling.

Sheridan is the primary contact for this Scheme and would be delighted to answer any questions.
